The Church of Saint Paul

The Church os Saint Paul was built between 1892 and 1897 by the architect Ludwig Müller in the neo-Gothic style for the Imperial German garrison. It is one of outstanding buildings in the Neustadt.

The two spires rise to 76m (249ft). The Church, where the emperor had his own official gallery, can hold three thousand worshippers.

Sixteen doors allowed military personnel from the very highest ranks down to enter and leave.

In 1919 the Church became a new Reformed parish.
